Saša and Janja, who go by the artistic name SAJAN, are a creative tandem and a married couple. They have chosen a sustainable and creative path in everyday life. By exploring the social pressures and potentials in living spaces, their (art)work is frequently a reflection of the environmentally problematic: the intensively cultivated, sterilely unified, unnatural living environment. Their artistic collaboration began in 2007 when, as they like to tell, “we smashed the bathroom into pieces ... then, thousands of colourful pieces manifested into living patterns. Sometimes things need to be broken, crashed. We have to get lost between them, so that a new story can arise.
